It's not too late!!!  NCSSA has begun offering leadership development training utilizing the John Maxwell "Developing the Leader Within You" format.  This particular structure will examine the differences between leadership styles and outline principles for inspiring, motivating and influincing others.
These principles may be utilized for strengthening NCSSA leadership, but will also be applicable to on-the-job duties as it helps participants understand the five characteristics that set "leader managers" apart from "run-of-the-mill managers".

This training will be provided in two hour sessions held prior to each of the five NCSSA State Board Meetings this fiscal year.  It is the hope of the NCSSA Executive Board that this will foster additional participation in our State Committee and Board Meetings while growing leaders.

Registration for this training will be $10.00 per session if paid on a session-by-session basis, or $40.00 if paid in full at the onset of the training in August.  This fee is to cover the expense of materials provided, and will include attendance at the State Committee Meetings held o n the same day.  Individuals wishing to begin participating in the training can join the group at any time.  Materials from previous sessions will be provided.
