Richardson Takes The Lead, Slutsky Of NCTIES Elected To NCASA Officer Role For 2021-22; Lenker Honored For Service As President For 2020-21

The NC Association of School Administrators (NCASA) Board of Directors held its final meeting of 2020-2021 on June 14 and elected a new slate of officers to lead the organization for the new year that begins July 1. Mr. Brad Richardson, a Principal in Rutherford County Schools, will take the helm as President for 2021-22. Two additional officers for NCASA were confirmed, including Dr. Aaron Slutsky, Chief Technology Officer of Gaston County Schools, who was named President-Elect for 2021-2022. In this role, Dr. Slutsky is in line to become NCASA’s President for 2022-2023 to follow Mr. Richardson. Immediate Past-President Dr. Ethan Lenker, Superintendent of Pitt County Schools, rounds out the officer slate. He was recognized at the June 14th NCASA Board meeting for his tenure as President for 2020-2021.
