We're thrilled to bring you annual favorites, like the Summer Leadership Retreat held in conjunction with our friends at the Western Region Education Service Alliance and their June leadership meeting and the Winter Leadership Conference held annually in early December. Our leadership meetings give us a chance to gather as a group and hone our skills, providing networking, fellowship, and bright ideas.

As core affiliates of North Carolina Association of School Administrators (NCASA), we encourage you to join us at the annual Conference on Educational Leadership, held each spring, and the School Law & Policy Symposium, held each September.

And finally, NCSSA is proud to partner with the North Carolina Alliance for School Leadership Development (NCASLD) to offer you a suite of small group meetings with the future of our public schools in mind. Learn more about how you can get involved – we hope to see you there!
Summer Leadership Retreat
NCSSA partners with the Western Region Education Service Alliance (WRESA) to bring together education leaders from across North Carolina to share ideas, network, and get updates regarding education practices. Assistant principals, principals, central office staff and superintendents will gather to examine the changes and updates in education in order to help tackle the challenges they face in their daily operations.
Winter Leadership Conference
The NCSSA Winter Conference is an opportunity for North Carolina’s school superintendents to gather and share innovative ideas and best practices, receive timely updates regarding education policy, and expand their network with fellow superintendents.
NCSSA partners with the North Carolina Alliance for School Leadership Development (NCASLD) to provide quality programming designed to grow leadership capacity among practicing school leaders through programs that are aligned to the research-based North Carolina Performance Evaluation standards and competencies for highly effective school leadership.
NCASA’s Annual Conference on Educational Leadership presents a one-of-a-kind opportunity for school and district leaders to engage with peers and learn from other districts from across the state. We look forward to seeing all facets of public school administration represented at NCASA's Conference on Educational Leadership. All administrators are welcome, and we encourage you to consider bringing a team from your district to present!
NCASA's School Law and Policy Symposium has been a collaborative event, featuring some of NC’s top education attorneys and subject matter experts who have delivered pertinent and timely content outlining legal and policy information that affects every school district throughout our state! The NCASA School Law Symposium is the best way to kick off your fall season with fresh updates summarizing any and all of the changes made in the General Assembly through the summer.
